The Troy Tech/International Baccalaureate Programs
(Only current eighth grade students are eligible to apply to the Troy Tech/IB Programs)

TT/IB information is available on this webpage or a hard copy can be picked up at the Troy High School Office. Office hours are 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Online Registration - December 1, 2013 – January 29, 2014Applicants were encouraged to register in advance online; however, all application materials will be available at Troy High School on the testing dates. Your application will be processed upon the parent AND student’s sign-in on the test date. Bring a student photo identification (passport or school id); this webpage will display more detailed application instructions.
Parent/Student Information Events
Each January - These programs acquaint prospective Troy Tech/IB students and their parents with the Troy High School special programs, departments, and curricular offerings.
Special Programs Testing for Current 8th Grade Students - January 11, 25, or February 1, 2014 (select only one date)
Check in at the North Gym, 7:15 a.m. (bring student photo identification and parent to sign documents). Testing is from approximately 7:30 – 11:45 a.m.
First Semester, Second Quarter, OR First Trimester Report Card Due - January 11 - February 5, 2014
Troy High School Office, 7:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Note: Final report card due date (as well as teacher recommendations) is 12 noon, February 5, 2014*. The student’s application will not be processed without a photocopy of the recent report card (not the original). Progress reports will disqualify the student’s application.
Notification - Approximately March 1, 2014
Letters of notification will be mailed to homes of all applicants. Students who are accepted will also receive their registration appointment time.
Registration - Several evenings in mid-March (One of the dates will be assigned in the acceptance letter.)
In the Lecture Hall, counselors, administrators and program directors will assist students in this final step in their enrollment for the freshman year. Attendance at the assigned meeting is mandatory; it represents the student’s commitment to attend Troy High School.
Troy Tech Fair & Incoming Student Welcome - May 20, 2014
Welcome Event in the Lecture Hall, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. for incoming students and their families
Troy Tech Fair in the North and South Gyms, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. featuring the Troy Tech Senior Interns and their Internships.
