I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with information concerning our Troy Tech and International Baccalaureate testing dates as well as registration procedures for students interested in attending Troy next year. Since our testing schedule begins in January, I feel it is important to provide this information in a timely manner so that parents can make appropriate plans. |

Testing is for current 8th grade students only. Information packets may be picked up at Troy High School between 8:00 a.m. and 4: 00 p.m. in the front office. The application is available on-line beginning December 1 at
www.troyhigh.com.

Testing for Current 8th Grade Prospective TT and IB Students (Photo ID required):
January 7, January 21, January 28, 2012 (Select only one date)
7:15 a.m.-check in 7:30 a.m. testing begins Troy High School, North Gym
There will be no make-up tests given. (The same test battery is used to qualify students for both
the Troy Tech and the International Baccalaureate Programs)

Parent/Student Information Opportunities:
January 12, 2012 - Campus open house to tour the facilities and visit classrooms 3:30 – 4:30 PM
January 29, 2012 - Troy High School, North Gym
For prospective Troy Tech/IB students and their parents to learn about the Troy High School
special programs—the qualifying criteria, curricular offerings, and enrollment procedures.

Deadline for Turning in Report Cards
February 15, 2012
Note: Final due date for report cards is 12:00 noon, February 18, 2012.
The student’s application will not be processed without the report card.

Notification of Acceptance
Early March 2012 - Letters of notification mailed to homes of applicants.
